Proverbs 13:12

²²Therefore you now have sorrow, but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you.

¹⁹Longing fulfilled is sweet to the soul, but fools detest turning from evil.

⁸¹My soul faints for your salvation. I hope in your word. ⁸²My eyes fail for your word. I say, “When will you comfort me?” ⁸³For I have become like a wineskin in the smoke. I don’t forget your statutes.

³⁰The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life. He who is wise wins souls.

¹⁸She is a tree of life to those who lay hold of her. Happy is everyone who retains her.

¹⁵As for me, I shall see your face in righteousness. I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with seeing your form.

³I am weary with my crying. My throat is dry. My eyes fail looking for my God.

⁷Hurry to answer me, LORD. My spirit fails. Don’t hide your face from me, so that I don’t become like those who go down into the pit.

⁶Sarah said, “God has made me laugh. Everyone who hears will laugh with me.” ⁷She said, “Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse children? For I have borne him a son in his old age.”

²He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay. He set my feet on a rock, and gave me a firm place to stand. ³He has put a new song in my mouth, even praise to our God. Many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.
