Proverbs 10:7

⁶For he will never be shaken. The righteous will be remembered forever.

⁴⁸for he has looked at the humble state of his servant. For behold, from now on, all generations will call me blessed.

⁹Most certainly I tell you, wherever this Good News may be preached throughout the whole world, that which this woman has done will also be spoken of for a memorial of her.”

¹³Let his posterity be cut off. In the generation following let their name be blotted out.

¹⁶They buried him in David’s city among the kings, because he had done good in Israel, and toward God and his house.

¹⁵Let them be before the LORD continually, that he may cut off their memory from the earth;

⁵You have rebuked the nations. You have destroyed the wicked. You have blotted out their name forever and ever. ⁶The enemy is overtaken by endless ruin. The very memory of the cities which you have overthrown has perished.

¹⁷His memory will perish from the earth. He will have no name in the street.

³⁶I will give one tribe to his son, that David my servant may have a lamp always before me in Jerusalem, the city which I have chosen for myself to put my name there.

³⁴‘For I will defend this city to save it, for my own sake and for my servant David’s sake.’”
