Philippians 4:8

¹⁷But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

⁷In all things show yourself an example of good works. In your teaching, show integrity, seriousness, incorruptibility,

⁹Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good. ¹⁰In love of the brothers be tenderly affectionate to one another; in honor prefer one another, ¹¹not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord, ¹²rejoicing in hope, enduring in troubles, continuing steadfastly in prayer, ¹³contributing to the needs of the saints, and given to hospitality.

¹⁴Bless those who persecute you; bless, and don’t curse. ¹⁵Rejoice with those who rejoice. Weep with those who weep. ¹⁶Be of the same mind one toward another. Don’t set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Don’t be wise in your own conceits. ¹⁷Repay no one evil for evil. Respect what is honorable in the sight of all men. ¹⁸If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. ¹⁹Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, “Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.” ²⁰Therefore “If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head.”

²¹Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

²¹Having regard for honorable things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.

²²But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith,

²¹Test all things, and hold firmly that which is good. ²²Abstain from every form of evil.

³seeing that his divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and virtue, ⁴by which he has granted to us his precious and exceedingly great promises; that through these you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world by lust. ⁵Yes, and for this very cause adding on your part all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence; and in moral excellence, knowledge; ⁶and in knowledge, self-control; and in self-control, perseverance; and in perseverance, godliness; ⁷and in godliness, brotherly affection; and in brotherly affection, love.

¹⁸Pray for us, for we are persuaded that we have a good conscience, desiring to live honorably in all things.

⁹for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth,

¹²Let no man despise your youth; but be an example to those who believe, in word, in your way of life, in love, in spirit, in faith, and in purity.
