Philippians 2:19

¹⁷Because of this I have sent Timothy to you, who is my beloved and faithful child in the Lord, who will remind you of my ways which are in Christ, even as I teach everywhere in every assembly.

⁶But Timothy has just now come to us from you, and brought us glad news of your faith and love, and that you have good memories of us always, longing to see us, even as we also long to see you. ⁷For this cause, brothers, we were comforted over you in all our distress and affliction through your faith. ⁸For now we live, if you stand fast in the Lord.

²and sent Timothy, our brother and God’s servant in the Good News of Christ, to establish you and to comfort you concerning your faith,

¹Paul and Timothy, servants of Jesus Christ,^[+] to all the saints in Christ Jesus who are at Philippi, with the overseers^[+] and servants:

²⁸I have sent him therefore the more diligently, that when you see him again, you may rejoice, and that I may be the less sorrowful.

⁸I am sending him to you for this very purpose, that he may know your circumstances and comfort your hearts, ⁹together with Onesimus, the faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They will make known to you everything that is going on here.

⁵hearing of your love and of the faith which you have toward the Lord Jesus and toward all the saints, ⁶that the fellowship of your faith may become effective in the knowledge of every good thing which is in us in Christ Jesus. ⁷For we have much joy and comfort in your love, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed through you, brother.

²³Therefore I hope to send him at once, as soon as I see how it will go with me. ²⁴But I trust in the Lord that I myself also will come shortly.

²⁵But I thought it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, fellow worker, fellow soldier, and your apostle and servant of my need,

²¹Timothy, my fellow worker, greets you, as do Lucius, Jason, and Sosipater, my relatives.

³We are bound to always give thanks to God for you, brothers,^[+] even as it is appropriate, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of each and every one of you toward one another abounds,
