Philippians 1:4

²We always give thanks to God for all of you, mentioning you in our prayers,

⁹For God is my witness, whom I serve in my spirit in the Good News of his Son, how unceasingly I make mention of you always in my prayers,

⁴I rejoice greatly that I have found some of your children walking in truth, even as we have been commanded by the Father.

²make my joy full by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind;

¹⁴who is a pledge of our inheritance, to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of his glory.

¹⁵For this cause I also, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which is among you and the love which you have toward all the saints, ¹⁶don’t cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers, ¹⁷that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him, ¹⁸having the eyes of your hearts^[+] enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, ¹⁹and what is the exceeding greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to that working of the strength of his might ²⁰which he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places, ²¹far above all rule, authority, power, dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in that which is to come. ²²He put all things in subjection under his feet, and gave him to be head over all things for the assembly, ²³which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.

⁹This I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment, ¹⁰so that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense to the day of Christ, ¹¹being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

¹Therefore, my brothers, beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, stand firm in the Lord in this way, my beloved.

⁷For we have much joy and comfort in your love, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed through you, brother.

¹⁸For many walk, of whom I told you often, and now tell you even weeping, as the enemies of the cross of Christ,

¹⁹For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Isn’t it even you, before our Lord Jesus^[+] at his coming? ²⁰For you are our glory and our joy.
