Mark 14:50

²⁷Jesus said to them, “All of you will be made to stumble because of me tonight, for it is written, ‘I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered.’

³²Behold, the time is coming, yes, and has now come, that you will be scattered, everyone to his own place, and you will leave me alone. Yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.

¹⁶At my first defense, no one came to help me, but all left me. May it not be held against them.

¹⁸You have put lover and friend far from me, and my friends into darkness.

¹¹My lovers and my friends stand aloof from my plague. My kinsmen stand far away.

⁷Your wrath lies heavily on me. You have afflicted me with all your waves. Selah. ⁸You have taken my friends from me. You have made me an abomination to them. I am confined, and I can’t escape.

³“I have trodden the wine press alone. Of the peoples, no one was with me. Yes, I trod them in my anger and trampled them in my wrath. Their lifeblood is sprinkled on my garments, and I have stained all my clothing.

¹³“He has put my brothers far from me. My acquaintances are wholly estranged from me. ¹⁴My relatives have gone away. My familiar friends have forgotten me.

⁸Jesus answered, “I told you that I am he. If therefore you seek me, let these go their way,”
