Mark 14:45

⁶“A son honors his father, and a servant his master. If I am a father, then where is my honor? And if I am a master, where is the respect due me?” says the LORD of Armies to you priests who despise my name. “You say, ‘How have we despised your name?’

¹⁴When they had come, they asked him, “Teacher, we know that you are honest, and don’t defer to anyone; for you aren’t partial to anyone, but truly teach the way of God. Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?

¹⁶Jesus said to her, “Mary.” She turned and said to him, “Rabboni!”^[+] which is to say, “Teacher!”

⁴⁶“Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and don’t do the things which I say?

¹³You call me, ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord.’ You say so correctly, for so I am. ¹⁴If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.

⁷the salutations in the marketplaces, and to be called ‘Rabbi, Rabbi’^[+] by men. ⁸But you are not to be called ‘Rabbi’, for one is your teacher, the Christ, and all of you are brothers. ⁹Call no man on the earth your father, for one is your Father, he who is in heaven. ¹⁰Neither be called masters, for one is your master, the Christ.

³The ox knows his owner, and the donkey his master’s crib; but Israel doesn’t know. My people don’t consider.”
