Micah 3:8

¹“Cry aloud! Don’t spare! Lift up your voice like a trumpet! Declare to my people their disobedience, and to the house of Jacob their sins.

¹²But we received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God, that we might know the things that were freely given to us by God. ¹³We also speak these things, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual things.

⁴My speech and my preaching were not in persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,

²The LORD’s Spirit will rest on him: the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD. ³His delight will be in the fear of the LORD. He will not judge by the sight of his eyes, neither decide by the hearing of his ears;

¹⁹Therefore the LORD says, “If you return, then I will bring you again, that you may stand before me; and if you take out the precious from the vile, you will be as my mouth. They will return to you, but you will not return to them. ²⁰I will make you to this people a fortified bronze wall. They will fight against you, but they will not prevail against you; for I am with you to save you and to deliver you,” says the LORD. ²¹“I will deliver you out of the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem you out of the hand of the terrible.”

⁵⁴Now when they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed at him with their teeth. ⁵⁵But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, looked up steadfastly into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, ⁵⁶and said, “Behold, I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!”

⁵⁷But they cried out with a loud voice and stopped their ears, then rushed at him with one accord.

⁸Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, “You rulers of the people and elders of Israel, ⁹if we are examined today concerning a good deed done to a crippled man, by what means this man has been healed, ¹⁰may it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, this man stands here before you whole in him. ¹¹He is ‘the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner.’¹²There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!”

⁹The Lord said to Paul in the night by a vision, “Don’t be afraid, but speak and don’t be silent; ¹⁰for I am with you, and no one will attack you to harm you, for I have many people in this city.”

¹¹He lived there a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.

¹⁰“You, son of man, show the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities; and let them measure the pattern.

¹⁸For I am full of words. The spirit within me constrains me.
