Matthew 5:19

³²Whatever thing I command you, that you shall observe to do. You shall not add to it, nor take away from it.

¹⁰For whoever keeps the whole law, and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all. ¹¹For he who said, “Do not commit adultery,”also said, “Do not commit murder.”Now if you do not commit adultery but do murder, you have become a transgressor of the law.

²⁰teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

⁸Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law. ⁹For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,”^[+] You shall not covet,”and whatever other commandments there are, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”¹⁰Love doesn’t harm a neighbor. Love therefore is the fulfillment of the law.

¹¹Most certainly I tell you, among those who are born of women there has not arisen anyone greater than John the Baptizer; yet he who is least in the Kingdom of Heaven is greater than he.

³If anyone teaches a different doctrine and doesn’t consent to sound words, the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness, ⁴he is conceited, knowing nothing, but obsessed with arguments, disputes, and word battles, from which come envy, strife, insulting, evil suspicions,

⁶Then I wouldn’t be disappointed, when I consider all of your commandments.

³Those who are wise will shine as the brightness of the expanse. Those who turn many to righteousness will shine as the stars forever and ever.

¹⁴For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”¹⁵But if you bite and devour one another, be careful that you don’t consume one another.

¹⁶But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won’t fulfill the lust of the flesh. ¹⁷For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire. ¹⁸But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. ¹⁹Now the deeds of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness, ²⁰idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies, ²¹envy, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit God’s Kingdom.

²²But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith,^23[+] gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law. ²⁴Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts.

¹¹Command and teach these things.

¹²Let no man despise your youth; but be an example to those who believe, in word, in your way of life, in love, in spirit, in faith, and in purity.
