Matthew 16:27

¹⁰For we must all be revealed before the judgment seat of Christ that each one may receive the things in the body according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

¹²Also to you, Lord, belongs loving kindness, for you reward every man according to his work.

⁶who “will pay back to everyone according to their works:”

¹²So then each one of us will give account of himself to God.

¹²“Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, to repay to each man according to his work. ¹³I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. ¹⁴Blessed are those who do his commandments,^[+] that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city. ¹⁵Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

¹⁰“I, the LORD, search the mind. I try the heart, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.”

¹⁰Tell the righteous that it will be well with them, for they will eat the fruit of their deeds. ¹¹Woe to the wicked! Disaster is upon them, for the deeds of their hands will be paid back to them.

⁴¹He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward. He who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man will receive a righteous man’s reward. ⁴²Whoever gives one of these little ones just a cup of cold water to drink in the name of a disciple, most certainly I tell you, he will in no way lose his reward.”

⁸knowing that whatever good thing each one does, he will receive the same good again from the Lord, whether he is bound or free.

¹²I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and they opened books. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged out of the things which were written in the books, according to their works.
