Luke 9:11

¹⁴How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher?

¹⁶Let’s therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need.

³For even Christ didn’t please himself. But, as it is written, “The reproaches of those who reproached you fell on me.”

¹⁰He said, “To you it is given to know the mysteries of God’s Kingdom, but to the rest it is given in parables, that ‘seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.’

³⁷All those whom the Father gives me will come to me. He who comes to me I will in no way throw out.

⁵³He has filled the hungry with good things. He has sent the rich away empty.

²preach the word; be urgent in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort with all patience and teaching.

³³They^[+] saw them going, and many recognized him and ran there on foot from all the cities. They arrived before them and came together to him. ³⁴Jesus came out, saw a great multitude, and he had compassion on them because they were like sheep without a shepherd; and he began to teach them many things.

²He sent them out to preach God’s Kingdom and to heal the sick.

³⁴Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to accomplish his work.
