Luke 4:41

³⁴He healed many who were sick with various diseases and cast out many demons. He didn’t allow the demons to speak, because they knew him.

¹⁹You believe that God is one. You do well. The demons also believe—and shudder.

³⁴saying, “Ah! what have we to do with you, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are: the Holy One of God!”

³⁵Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be silent and come out of him!” When the demon had thrown him down in the middle of them, he came out of him, having done him no harm.

¹⁷Following Paul and us, she cried out, “These men are servants of the Most High God, who proclaim to us a way of salvation!” ¹⁸She was doing this for many days. But Paul, becoming greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit, “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her!” It came out that very hour.

¹¹The unclean spirits, whenever they saw him, fell down before him and cried, “You are the Son of God!”

³¹but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name.

³The tempter came and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.”

⁶³But Jesus stayed silent. The high priest answered him, “I adjure you by the living God that you tell us whether you are the Christ, the Son of God.”

²⁹Behold, they cried out, saying, “What do we have to do with you, Jesus, Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the time?”

²⁵Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be quiet, and come out of him!”
