Luke 24:50

¹²Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mountain called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day’s journey away.

²⁸All these are the twelve tribes of Israel, and this is what their father spoke to them, and blessed them. He blessed everyone according to his own blessing.

²³“Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying, ‘This is how you shall bless the children of Israel.’ You shall tell them, ²⁴‘The LORD bless you, and keep you. ²⁵The LORD make his face to shine on you, and be gracious to you. ²⁶The LORD lift up his face toward you, and give you peace.’

²⁷“So they shall put my name on the children of Israel; and I will bless them.”

¹⁷He left them and went out of the city to Bethany, and camped there.

¹When they came near to Jerusalem, to Bethsphage^[+] and Bethany, at the Mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples

⁴Make me savory food, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat, and that my soul may bless you before I die.”

¹⁶He took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands on them.

¹⁸Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine. He was priest of God Most High. ¹⁹He blessed him, and said, “Blessed be Abram of God Most High, possessor of heaven and earth. ²⁰Blessed be God Most High, who has delivered your enemies into your hand.” Abram gave him a tenth of all.

⁵They indeed of the sons of Levi who receive the priest’s office have a commandment to take tithes from the people according to the law, that is, of their brothers, though these have come out of the body of Abraham, ⁶but he whose genealogy is not counted from them has accepted tithes from Abraham, and has blessed him who has the promises. ⁷But without any dispute the lesser is blessed by the greater.

⁹Joseph said to his father, “They are my sons, whom God has given me here.” He said, “Please bring them to me, and I will bless them.”
