Luke 23:33

²²They brought him to the place called Golgotha, which is, being interpreted, “The place of a skull.” ²³They offered him wine mixed with myrrh to drink, but he didn’t take it.

¹⁷He went out, bearing his cross, to the place called “The Place of a Skull”, which is called in Hebrew, “Golgotha”, ¹⁸where they crucified him, and with him two others, on either side one, and Jesus in the middle.

²⁴He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed by his wounds.

³³When they came to a place called “Golgotha”, that is to say, “The place of a skull,” ³⁴they gave him sour wine^[+] to drink mixed with gall.^[+] When he had tasted it, he would not drink.

²³his body shall not remain all night on the tree, but you shall surely bury him the same day; for he who is hanged is accursed of God. Don’t defile your land which the LORD your God gives you for an inheritance.

¹⁰I will pour on David’s house and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the spirit of grace and of supplication. They will look to me^[+] they have pierced; and they shall mourn for him as one mourns for his only son, and will grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for his firstborn.

³²that the word of Jesus might be fulfilled, which he spoke, signifying by what kind of death he should die.

³⁰The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom you killed, hanging him on a tree.

²⁹When they had fulfilled all things that were written about him, they took him down from the tree and laid him in a tomb.

⁷saying that the Son of Man must be delivered up into the hands of sinful men and be crucified, and the third day rise again?”
