Luke 19:6

²⁹Levi made a great feast for him in his house. There was a great crowd of tax collectors and others who were reclining with them.

³⁴He brought them up into his house and set food before them, and rejoiced greatly with all his household, having believed in God.

¹⁵When she and her household were baptized, she begged us, saying, “If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house and stay.” So she persuaded us.

⁵You meet him who rejoices and does righteousness, those who remember you in your ways. Behold, you were angry, and we sinned. We have been in sin for a long time. Shall we be saved?

⁵⁹I considered my ways, and turned my steps to your statutes. ⁶⁰I will hurry, and not delay, to obey your commandments.

⁴¹Then those who gladly received his word were baptized. There were added that day about three thousand souls.

¹⁶They came with haste and found both Mary and Joseph, and the baby was lying in the feeding trough.

⁶Abraham hurried into the tent to Sarah, and said, “Quickly prepare three seahs^[+] of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes.” ⁷Abraham ran to the herd, and fetched a tender and good calf, and gave it to the servant. He hurried to dress it.

¹⁵But when it was the good pleasure of God, who separated me from my mother’s womb and called me through his grace, ¹⁶to reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the Gentiles, I didn’t immediately confer with flesh and blood,
