Luke 1:51

¹Sing to the LORD a new song, for he has done marvelous things! His right hand and his holy arm have worked salvation for him.

¹⁰The LORD has made his holy arm bare in the eyes of all the nations. All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

³“Don’t keep talking so exceedingly proudly. Don’t let arrogance come out of your mouth, for the LORD is a God of knowledge. By him actions are weighed. ⁴“The bows of the mighty men are broken. Those who stumbled are armed with strength.

⁹Awake, awake, put on strength, arm of the LORD! Awake, as in the days of old, the generations of ancient times. Isn’t it you who cut Rahab in pieces, who pierced the monster?

²¹Because knowing God, they didn’t glorify him as God, and didn’t give thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened.

³⁷Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven; for all his works are truth, and his ways justice; and those who walk in pride he is able to abase.

⁶Your right hand, LORD, is glorious in power. Your right hand, LORD, dashes the enemy in pieces. ⁷In the greatness of your excellency, you overthrow those who rise up against you. You send out your wrath. It consumes them as stubble.

¹²Who caused his glorious arm to be at Moses’ right hand? Who divided the waters before them, to make himself an everlasting name?

⁹He will keep the feet of his holy ones, but the wicked will be put to silence in darkness; for no man will prevail by strength. ¹⁰Those who strive with the LORD shall be broken to pieces. He will thunder against them in the sky. “The LORD will judge the ends of the earth. He will give strength to his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.”

¹¹Now I know that the LORD is greater than all gods because of the way that they treated people arrogantly.”
