Luke 1:11

³At about the ninth hour of the day,^[+] he clearly saw in a vision an angel of God coming to him and saying to him, “Cornelius!”

⁴He, fastening his eyes on him and being frightened, said, “What is it, Lord?” He said to him, “Your prayers and your gifts to the needy have gone up for a memorial before God.

²⁶He put the golden altar in the Tent of Meeting before the veil; ²⁷and he burned incense of sweet spices on it, as the LORD commanded Moses.

³The LORD’s angel appeared to the woman, and said to her, “See now, you are barren and childless; but you shall conceive and bear a son.

³Another angel came and stood over the altar, having a golden censer. Much incense was given to him, that he should add it to the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar which was before the throne. ⁴The smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, went up before God out of the angel’s hand.

⁹God listened to the voice of Manoah, and the angel of God came again to the woman as she sat in the field; but Manoah, her husband, wasn’t with her.

¹⁰The angel said to them, “Don’t be afraid, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be to all the people.

¹⁹But an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors by night, and brought them out and said,

²⁸Having come in, the angel said to her, “Rejoice, you highly favored one! The Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women!”

¹⁹The angel answered him, “I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God. I was sent to speak to you and to bring you this good news.

²⁵He made the altar of incense of acacia wood. It was square: its length was a cubit, and its width a cubit. Its height was two cubits. Its horns were of one piece with it. ²⁶He overlaid it with pure gold: its top, its sides around it, and its horns. He made a gold molding around it. ²⁷He made two golden rings for it under its molding crown, on its two ribs, on its two sides, for places for poles with which to carry it. ²⁸He made the poles of acacia wood, and overlaid them with gold. ²⁹He made the holy anointing oil and the pure incense of sweet spices, after the art of the perfumer.
