Leviticus 25:9

²⁴“Speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, there shall be a solemn rest for you, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation.

²⁷“However on the tenth day of this seventh month is the day of atonement. It shall be a holy convocation to you. You shall afflict yourselves and you shall offer an offering made by fire to the LORD.

⁸For from you the word of the Lord has been declared, not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith toward God has gone out, so that we need not to say anything.

¹⁷If he dedicates his field from the Year of Jubilee, according to your valuation it shall stand.

²⁴In the Year of Jubilee the field shall return to him from whom it was bought, even to him to whom the possession of the land belongs.

³⁰for on this day shall atonement be made for you, to cleanse you. You shall be clean from all your sins before the LORD.

¹⁰“Also in the day of your gladness, and in your set feasts, and in the beginnings of your months, you shall blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; and they shall be to you for a memorial before your God. I am the LORD your God.”

⁴When the jubilee of the children of Israel comes, then their inheritance will be added to the inheritance of the tribe to which they shall belong. So their inheritance will be taken away from the inheritance of the tribe of our fathers.”

²⁰“When he has finished atoning for the Holy Place, the Tent of Meeting, and the altar, he shall present the live goat.

³⁸Be it known to you therefore, brothers,^[+] that through this man is proclaimed to you remission of sins; ³⁹and by him everyone who believes is justified from all things, from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.
