Leviticus 1:17

¹⁰He brought him all these, and divided them in the middle, and laid each half opposite the other; but he didn’t divide the birds.

³⁰When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, “It is finished!” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

¹⁰For you will not leave my soul in Sheol,^[+] neither will you allow your holy one to see corruption.

⁸He shall bring them to the priest, who shall first offer the one which is for the sin offering. He shall wring off its head from its neck, but shall not sever it completely.

¹³but the innards and the legs he shall wash with water. The priest shall offer the whole, and burn it on the altar. It is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to the LORD.

¹⁰“‘If his offering is from the flock, from the sheep or from the goats, for a burnt offering, he shall offer a male without defect.

¹⁹but with precious blood, as of a lamb without blemish or spot, the blood of Christ, ²⁰who was foreknown indeed before the foundation of the world, but was revealed in this last age for your sake, ²¹who through him are believers in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope might be in God.

¹⁸Because Christ also suffered for sins once, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring you to God, being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the Spirit,

¹⁵Through him, then, let’s offer up a sacrifice of praise to Godcontinually, that is, the fruit of lips which proclaim allegiance to his name. ¹⁶But don’t forget to be doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

⁵⁰Jesus cried again with a loud voice, and yielded up his spirit.
