Joshua 18:10

¹²giving thanks to the Father, who made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light,

¹⁹When he had destroyed seven nations in the land of Canaan, he gave them their land for an inheritance for about four hundred fifty years.

⁶You shall survey the land into seven parts, and bring the description here to me; and I will cast lots for you here before the LORD our God.

⁵The LORD assigned my portion and my cup. You made my lot secure. ⁶The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places. Yes, I have a good inheritance.

⁸The men arose and went. Joshua commanded those who went to survey the land, saying, “Go walk through the land, survey it, and come again to me. I will cast lots for you here before the LORD in Shiloh.”

⁴He chooses our inheritance for us, the glory of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.

²²You shall divide it by lot for an inheritance to you and to the aliens who live among you, who will father children among you. Then they shall be to you as the native-born among the children of Israel. They shall have inheritance with you among the tribes of Israel.

¹⁸The lot settles disputes, and keeps strong ones apart.

²⁹“This is the land which you shall divide by lot to the tribes of Israel for inheritance, and these are their several portions, says the Lord GOD.

²even as you gave him authority over all flesh, so he will give eternal life to all whom you have given him.
