Psalms 107:23-31
23Those who go down to the sea in ships, who do business in great waters, 24these see the LORD’s deeds, and his wonders in the deep. 25For he commands, and raises the stormy wind, which lifts up its waves. 26They mount up to the sky; they go down again to the depths. Their soul melts away because of trouble. 27They reel back and forth, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wits’ end. 28Then they cry to the LORD in their trouble, and he brings them out of their distress. 29He makes the storm a calm, so that its waves are still. 30Then they are glad because it is calm, so he brings them to their desired haven. 31Let them praise the LORD for his loving kindness, for his wonderful deeds for the children of men!

26He said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then he got up, rebuked the wind and the sea, and there was a great calm.
27The men marveled, saying, “What kind of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?”

Acts 27:13-20
13When the south wind blew softly, supposing that they had obtained their purpose, they weighed anchor and sailed along Crete, close to shore. 14But before long, a stormy wind beat down from shore, which is called Euroclydon.15[+] When the ship was caught and couldn’t face the wind, we gave way to it and were driven along. 16Running under the lee of a small island called Clauda, we were able, with difficulty, to secure the boat. 17After they had hoisted it up, they used cables to help reinforce the ship. Fearing that they would run aground on the Syrtis sand bars, they lowered the sea anchor, and so were driven along. 18As we labored exceedingly with the storm, the next day they began to throw things overboard. 19On the third day, they threw out the ship’s tackle with their own hands. 20When neither sun nor stars shone on us for many days, and no small storm pressed on us, all hope that we would be saved was now taken away.
Exodus 10:13
