Joel 2:21

¹⁶In that day, it will be said to Jerusalem, “Don’t be afraid, Zion. Don’t let your hands be weak.” ¹⁷The LORD, your God, is among you, a mighty one who will save. He will rejoice over you with joy. He will calm you in his love. He will rejoice over you with singing.

¹⁰Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

⁴“Don’t be afraid, for you will not be ashamed. Don’t be confounded, for you will not be disappointed. For you will forget the shame of your youth. You will remember the reproach of your widowhood no more.

¹When the LORD brought back those who returned to Zion, we were like those who dream. ²Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, “The LORD has done great things for them.” ³The LORD has done great things for us, and we are glad.

³‘Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great and difficult things, which you don’t know.’

¹⁶“Now therefore stand still and see this great thing, which the LORD will do before your eyes.

⁹but they will serve the LORD their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up to them. ¹⁰Therefore don’t be afraid, O Jacob my servant, says the LORD. Don’t be dismayed, Israel. For, behold, I will save you from afar, and save your offspring from the land of their captivity. Jacob will return, and will be quiet and at ease. No one will make him afraid.

²⁴Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things he has done for you.

¹The wilderness and the dry land will be glad. The desert will rejoice and blossom like a rose.

¹²The wilderness grasslands overflow. The hills are clothed with gladness. ¹³The pastures are covered with flocks. The valleys also are clothed with grain. They shout for joy! They also sing.
