Job 7:7

¹⁴Yet you don’t know what your life will be like tomorrow. For what is your life? For you are a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.

³⁹He remembered that they were but flesh, a wind that passes away, and doesn’t come again.

⁴⁷Remember how short my time is, for what vanity you have created all the children of men!

¹⁵LORD, you know. Remember me, visit me, and avenge me of my persecutors. You are patient, so don’t take me away. Know that for your sake I have suffered reproach.

²¹before I go where I will not return from, to the land of darkness and of the shadow of death; ²²the land dark as midnight, of the shadow of death, without any order, where the light is as midnight.’”

¹⁸Remember this, that the enemy has mocked you, LORD. Foolish people have blasphemed your name.

⁵⁰Remember, Lord, the reproach of your servants, how I bear in my heart the taunts of all the mighty peoples,

⁹Remember, I beg you, that you have fashioned me as clay. Will you bring me into dust again?

⁸“Remember, I beg you, the word that you commanded your servant Moses, saying, ‘If you trespass, I will scatter you among the peoples;
