Job 3:11

³“Listen to me, house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, that have been carried from their birth, that have been carried from the womb.

¹⁸“‘Why, then, have you brought me out of the womb? I wish I had given up the spirit, and no eye had seen me. ¹⁹I should have been as though I had not been. I should have been carried from the womb to the grave.

⁸Let them be like a snail which melts and passes away, like the stillborn child, who has not seen the sun.

¹⁰Woe is me, my mother, that you have borne me, a man of strife, and a man of contention to the whole earth! I have not lent, neither have men lent to me; yet every one of them curses me.

⁶I have relied on you from the womb. You are he who took me out of my mother’s womb. I will always praise you.

⁹But you brought me out of the womb. You made me trust while at my mother’s breasts. ¹⁰I was thrown on you from my mother’s womb. You are my God since my mother bore me.

¹³For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. ¹⁴I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well. ¹⁵My frame wasn’t hidden from you, when I was made in secret, woven together in the depths of the earth. ¹⁶Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them.

¹⁴Give them—LORD what will you give? Give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts.
