Job 17:12

³so I am made to possess months of misery, wearisome nights are appointed to me. ⁴When I lie down, I say, ‘When will I arise, and the night be gone?’ I toss and turn until the dawning of the day.

¹⁴The murderer rises with the light. He kills the poor and needy. In the night he is like a thief. ¹⁵The eye also of the adulterer waits for the twilight, saying, ‘No eye will see me.’ He disguises his face. ¹⁶In the dark they dig through houses. They shut themselves up in the daytime. They don’t know the light.

¹³When I say, ‘My bed will comfort me. My couch will ease my complaint,’ ¹⁴then you scare me with dreams and terrify me through visions,

⁶⁷In the morning you will say, “I wish it were evening!” and at evening you will say, “I wish it were morning!” for the fear of your heart which you will fear, and for the sights which your eyes will see.
