Job 15:4

³¹Do we then nullify the law through faith? May it never be! No, we establish the law.

¹⁰“When a man’s relative carries him, even he who burns him, to bring bodies out of the house, and asks him who is in the innermost parts of the house, ‘Is there yet any with you?’ And he says, ‘No;’ then he will say, ‘Hush! Indeed we must not mention the LORD’s name.’

¹³So Saul died for his trespass which he committed against the LORD, because of the LORD’s word, which he didn’t keep, and also because he asked counsel of one who had a familiar spirit, to inquire, ¹⁴and didn’t inquire of the LORD. Therefore he killed him, and turned the kingdom over to David the son of Jesse.

¹⁰Will he delight himself in the Almighty, and call on God at all times?

¹He also spoke a parable to them that they must always pray and not give up,

⁶those who have turned back from following the LORD, and those who haven’t sought the LORD nor inquired after him.

²¹I don’t reject the grace of God. For if righteousness is through the law, then Christ died for nothing!”

¹A revelation is within my heart about the disobedience of the wicked: There is no fear of God before his eyes. ²For he flatters himself in his own eyes, too much to detect and hate his sin. ³The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit. He has ceased to be wise and to do good.

¹⁴They haven’t cried to me with their heart, but they howl on their beds. They assemble themselves for grain and new wine. They turn away from me.

⁵But now it has come to you, and you faint. It touches you, and you are troubled. ⁶Isn’t your piety your confidence? Isn’t the integrity of your ways your hope?
