Job 15:10

⁶Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered, “I am young, and you are very old. Therefore I held back, and didn’t dare show you my opinion. ⁷I said, ‘Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom.’

⁸“Please inquire of past generations. Find out about the learning of their fathers. ⁹(For we are but of yesterday, and know nothing, because our days on earth are a shadow.) ¹⁰Shall they not teach you, tell you, and utter words out of their heart?

¹²With aged men is wisdom, in length of days understanding.

³¹Gray hair is a crown of glory. It is attained by a life of righteousness.

²⁰He removes the speech of those who are trusted, and takes away the understanding of the elders.

⁷Remember the days of old. Consider the years of many generations. Ask your father, and he will show you; your elders, and they will tell you.
