Job 13:7

⁴For truly my words are not false. One who is perfect in knowledge is with you.

⁴surely my lips will not speak unrighteousness, neither will my tongue utter deceit.

⁷“Remember, now, who ever perished, being innocent? Or where were the upright cut off?

²They will put you out of the synagogues. Yes, the time is coming that whoever kills you will think that he offers service to God.

²“Shouldn’t the multitude of words be answered? Should a man full of talk be justified? ³Should your boastings make men hold their peace? When you mock, will no man make you ashamed? ⁴For you say, ‘My doctrine is pure. I am clean in your eyes.’

²¹Please don’t let me respect any man’s person, neither will I give flattering titles to any man. ²²For I don’t know how to give flattering titles, or else my Maker would soon take me away.

⁵He who denounces his friends for plunder, even the eyes of his children will fail.

²But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by the manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.

⁵But if our unrighteousness commends the righteousness of God, what will we say? Is God unrighteous who inflicts wrath? I speak like men do. ⁶May it never be! For then how will God judge the world? ⁷For if the truth of God through my lie abounded to his glory, why am I also still judged as a sinner? ⁸Why not (as we are slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say), “Let’s do evil, that good may come?” Those who say so are justly condemned.
