Job 13:15

⁴Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

¹⁰But he knows the way that I take. When he has tried me, I will come out like gold.

²⁵But as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives. In the end, he will stand upon the earth. ²⁶After my skin is destroyed, then I will see God in my flesh, ²⁷whom I, even I, will see on my side. My eyes will see, and not as a stranger. “My heart is consumed within me. ²⁸If you say, ‘How we will persecute him!’ because the root of the matter is found in me,

³⁸For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, ³⁹nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from God’s love which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

²⁰because if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.

⁵Far be it from me that I should justify you. Until I die I will not put away my integrity from me.

⁴I would set my cause in order before him, and fill my mouth with arguments. ⁵I would know the words which he would answer me, and understand what he would tell me. ⁶Would he contend with me in the greatness of his power? No, but he would listen to me. ⁷There the upright might reason with him, so I should be delivered forever from my judge.

³²The wicked is brought down in his calamity, but in death, the righteous has a refuge.

⁸Will you even annul my judgment? Will you condemn me, that you may be justified?

¹⁸See now, I have set my cause in order. I know that I am righteous.
