Job 10:3

⁸But now, LORD, you are our Father. We are the clay and you our potter. We all are the work of your hand.

⁸The LORD will fulfill that which concerns me. Your loving kindness, LORD, endures forever. Don’t forsake the works of your own hands.

¹⁵You would call, and I would answer you. You would have a desire for the work of your hands.

¹You are righteous, LORD, when I contend with you; yet I would like to plead a case with you. Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why are they all at ease who deal very treacherously? ²You have planted them. Yes, they have taken root. They grow. Yes, they produce fruit. You are near in their mouth, and far from their heart. ³But you, LORD, know me. You see me, and test my heart toward you. Pull them out like sheep for the slaughter, and prepare them for the day of slaughter.

⁸Will you even annul my judgment? Will you condemn me, that you may be justified?

²⁴The earth is given into the hand of the wicked. He covers the faces of its judges. If not he, then who is it?

¹⁷“But you are full of the judgment of the wicked. Judgment and justice take hold of you. ¹⁸Don’t let riches entice you to wrath, neither let the great size of a bribe turn you aside.

²⁰“Behold, God will not cast away a blameless man, neither will he uphold the evildoers.

¹⁸who says to a king, ‘Vile!’ or to nobles, ‘Wicked!’? ¹⁹He doesn’t respect the persons of princes, nor respect the rich more than the poor, for they all are the work of his hands.

³³For the LORD hears the needy, and doesn’t despise his captive people.
