John 8:26

¹⁵No longer do I call you servants, for the servant doesn’t know what his lord does. But I have called you friends, for everything that I heard from my Father, I have made known to you.

⁴⁰But now you seek to kill me, a man who has told you the truth which I heard from God. Abraham didn’t do this.

⁴⁷If anyone listens to my sayings and doesn’t believe, I don’t judge him. For I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. ⁴⁸He who rejects me, and doesn’t receive my sayings, has one who judges him. The word that I spoke will judge him in the last day. ⁴⁹For I spoke not from myself, but the Father who sent me gave me a commandment, what I should say and what I should speak. ⁵⁰I know that his commandment is eternal life. The things therefore which I speak, even as the Father has said to me, so I speak.”

⁸for the words which you have given me I have given to them; and they received them, and knew for sure that I came from you. They have believed that you sent me.

²⁸Jesus therefore cried out in the temple, teaching and saying, “You both know me, and know where I am from. I have not come of myself, but he who sent me is true, whom you don’t know.

¹²“I still have many things to tell you, but you can’t bear them now.

¹⁸But as God is faithful, our word toward you was not “Yes and no.”

⁴²But I know you, that you don’t have God’s love in yourselves. ⁴³I have come in my Father’s name, and you don’t receive me. If another comes in his own name, you will receive him.

¹¹About him we have many words to say, and hard to interpret, seeing you have become dull of hearing. ¹²For although by this time you should be teachers, you again need to have someone teach you the rudiments of the first principles of the revelations of God. You have come to need milk, and not solid food.

³²What he has seen and heard, of that he testifies; and no one receives his witness. ³³He who has received his witness has set his seal to this, that God is true.
