John 5:27

⁴²He commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that this is he who is appointed by God as the Judge of the living and the dead.

³¹because he has appointed a day in which he will judge the world in righteousness by the man whom he has ordained; of which he has given assurance to all men, in that he has raised him from the dead.”

²²For the Father judges no one, but he has given all judgment to the Son,

²²who is at the right hand of God, having gone into heaven, angels and authorities and powers being made subject to him.

¹³“I saw in the night visions, and behold, there came with the clouds of the sky one like a son of man, and he came even to the Ancient of Days, and they brought him near before him. ¹⁴Dominion was given him, and glory, and a kingdom, that all the peoples, nations, and languages should serve him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which will not pass away, and his kingdom one that will not be destroyed.

²⁵For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.

⁷You made him a little lower than the angels. You crowned him with glory and honor.^8[+] You have put all things in subjection under his feet.”For in that he subjected all things to him, he left nothing that is not subject to him. But now we don’t yet see all things subjected to him.

⁹But we see him who has been made a little lower than the angels, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that by the grace of God he should taste of death for everyone.

²⁰which he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places, ²¹far above all rule, authority, power, dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in that which is to come. ²²He put all things in subjection under his feet, and gave him to be head over all things for the assembly, ²³which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.

⁶He will judge among the nations. He will heap up dead bodies. He will crush the ruler of the whole earth.

¹The LORD says to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool for your feet.” ²The LORD will send out the rod of your strength out of Zion. Rule among your enemies.
