John 3:8

⁴He who observes the wind won’t sow; and he who regards the clouds won’t reap. ⁵As you don’t know what is the way of the wind, nor how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child; even so you don’t know the work of God who does all.

¹¹For who among men knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so, no one knows the things of God except God’s Spirit.

²Suddenly there came from the sky a sound like the rushing of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

⁹Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the wind, prophesy, son of man, and tell the wind, ‘The Lord GOD says: “Come from the four winds, breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.”’”

²⁹If you know that he is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness has been born of him.

²⁶He said, “God’s Kingdom is as if a man should cast seed on the earth, ²⁷and should sleep and rise night and day, and the seed should spring up and grow, though he doesn’t know how. ²⁸For the earth bears fruit by itself: first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear. ²⁹But when the fruit is ripe, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come.”

³¹When they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were gathered together. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.

¹³who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

¹¹But the one and the same Spirit produces all of these, distributing to each one separately as he desires.

¹⁰By the breath of God, ice is given, and the width of the waters is frozen. ¹¹Yes, he loads the thick cloud with moisture. He spreads abroad the cloud of his lightning. ¹²It is turned around by his guidance, that they may do whatever he commands them on the surface of the habitable world, ¹³whether it is for correction, or for his land, or for loving kindness, that he causes it to come.
