John 20:21

¹⁸As you sent me into the world, even so I have sent them into the world. ¹⁹For their sakes I sanctify myself, that they themselves also may be sanctified in truth.

²⁰Most certainly I tell you, he who receives whomever I send, receives me; and he who receives me, receives him who sent me.”

¹⁷For God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him.

⁸But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth.”

¹⁸Jesus came to them and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. ¹⁹Go^[+] and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, ²⁰teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

¹⁵He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to the whole creation. ¹⁶He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who disbelieves will be condemned. ¹⁷These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new languages; ¹⁸they will take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it will in no way hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

⁴⁷and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name to all the nations, beginning at Jerusalem. ⁴⁸You are witnesses of these things. ⁴⁹Behold, I send out the promise of my Father on you. But wait in the city of Jerusalem until you are clothed with power from on high.”

¹⁶“Behold, I send you out as sheep among wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.

⁴⁰“He who receives you receives me, and he who receives me receives him who sent me.

²The things which you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit the same things to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.
