John 16:23

⁷If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you.

¹³Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. ¹⁴If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.

²²All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”

²⁴It will happen that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

¹⁴This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. ¹⁵And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.

¹⁶If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin not leading to death, he shall ask, and God will give him life for those who sin not leading to death. There is sin leading to death. I don’t say that he should make a request concerning this.

⁷“Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you.

²⁶In that day you will ask in my name; and I don’t say to you that I will pray to the Father for you,

²⁰In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.

¹⁸For through him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father.

¹⁵No longer do I call you servants, for the servant doesn’t know what his lord does. But I have called you friends, for everything that I heard from my Father, I have made known to you. ¹⁶You didn’t choose me, but I chose you and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatever you will ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you.
