John 12:13

²⁵Save us now, we beg you, LORD! LORD, we beg you, send prosperity now. ²⁶Blessed is he who comes in the LORD’s name! We have blessed you out of the LORD’s house.

³They sang the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, “Great and marvelous are your works, Lord God, the Almighty! Righteous and true are your ways, you King of the nations.

³⁵Then they brought it to Jesus. They threw their cloaks on the colt and sat Jesus on them. ³⁶As he went, they spread their cloaks on the road.

³⁷As he was now getting near, at the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works which they had seen, ³⁸saying, “Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord!Peace in heaven, and glory in the highest!”

⁹The multitudes who went in front of him, and those who followed, kept shouting, “Hosanna^[+] to the son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!”

¹⁰When he had come into Jerusalem, all the city was stirred up, saying, “Who is this?”

¹¹The multitudes said, “This is the prophet, Jesus, from Nazareth of Galilee.”

⁸Many spread their garments on the way, and others were cutting down branches from the trees and spreading them on the road. ⁹Those who went in front and those who followed cried out, “Hosanna!^[+] Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!¹⁰Blessed is the kingdom of our father David that is coming in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!”

⁹After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no man could count, out of every nation and of all tribes, peoples, and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, dressed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands.

³⁹For I tell you, you will not see me from now on, until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!’”

⁴⁹Nathanael answered him, “Rabbi, you are the Son of God! You are King of Israel!”

⁵Afterward the children of Israel shall return and seek the LORD their God, and David their king, and shall come with trembling to the LORD and to his blessings in the last days.

¹⁷His name endures forever. His name continues as long as the sun. Men shall be blessed by him. All nations will call him blessed. ¹⁸Praise be to the LORD God, the God of Israel, who alone does marvelous deeds. ¹⁹Blessed be his glorious name forever! Let the whole earth be filled with his glory! Amen and amen.
