John 1:4

^12[+] Again, therefore, Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world.He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.”

⁴⁶I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in me may not remain in the darkness.

²⁶For as the Father has life in himself, even so he gave to the Son also to have life in himself.

⁵This is the message which we have heard from him and announce to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. ⁶If we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in the darkness, we lie and don’t tell the truth. ⁷But if we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin.

⁵While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

⁷⁸because of the tender mercy of our God, by which the dawn from on high will visit us, ⁷⁹to shine on those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death; to guide our feet into the way of peace.”

²⁵Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies.

⁶“I, the LORD, have called you in righteousness. I will hold your hand. I will keep you, and make you a covenant for the people, as a light for the nations, ⁷to open the blind eyes, to bring the prisoners out of the dungeon, and those who sit in darkness out of the prison.

¹¹The testimony is this: that God gave to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

⁶Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
