Jeremiah 24:7

¹⁰“For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days,” says the Lord: “I will put my laws into their mind; I will also write them on their heart. I will be their God, and they will be my people.

²²“You shall be my people, and I will be your God.

²³They won’t defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions; but I will save them out of all their dwelling places in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them. So they will be my people, and I will be their God.

²⁴“‘“For I will take you from among the nations and gather you out of all the countries, and will bring you into your own land. ²⁵I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean. I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. ²⁶I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. ²⁷I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes. You will keep my ordinances and do them. ²⁸You will dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers. You will be my people, and I will be your God.

⁸I will bring them, and they will dwell within Jerusalem. They will be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.”

²and return to the LORD your God and obey his voice according to all that I command you today, you and your children, with all your heart and with all your soul, ³that then the LORD your God will release you from captivity, have compassion on you, and will return and gather you from all the peoples where the LORD your God has scattered you. ⁴If your outcasts are in the uttermost parts of the heavens, from there the LORD your God will gather you, and from there he will bring you back. ⁵The LORD your God will bring you into the land which your fathers possessed, and you will possess it. He will do you good, and increase your numbers more than your fathers. ⁶The LORD your God will circumcise your heart, and the heart of your offspring, to love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live.

¹⁷But thanks be to God that, whereas you were bondservants of sin, you became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching to which you were delivered.

¹⁹I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them. I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh, ²⁰that they may walk in my statutes, and keep my ordinances, and do them. They will be my people, and I will be their God.

³Samuel spoke to all the house of Israel, saying, “If you are returning to the LORD with all your heart, then put away the foreign gods and the Ashtaroth from among you, and direct your hearts to the LORD, and serve him only; and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines.”

²⁹But from there you shall seek the LORD your God, and you will find him when you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul. ³⁰When you are in oppression, and all these things have come on you, in the latter days you shall return to the LORD your God and listen to his voice. ³¹For the LORD your God is a merciful God. He will not fail you nor destroy you, nor forget the covenant of your fathers which he swore to them.
