Judges 5:2

⁹My heart is toward the governors of Israel, who offered themselves willingly among the people. Bless the LORD!

³Your people offer themselves willingly in the day of your power, in holy array. Out of the womb of the morning, you have the dew of your youth.

¹⁶and next to him Amasiah the son of Zichri, who willingly offered himself to the LORD, and with him two hundred thousand mighty men of valor.

¹³For it is God who works in you both to will and to work for his good pleasure.

⁴⁷The LORD lives! Blessed be my rock! Exalted be God, the rock of my salvation, ⁴⁸even the God who executes vengeance for me, who brings down peoples under me,

¹⁹Sihon king of the Amorites, for his loving kindness endures forever; ²⁰Og king of Bashan, for his loving kindness endures forever;

¹LORD,^[+] God to whom vengeance belongs, you God to whom vengeance belongs, shine out.

⁶May the high praises of God be in their mouths, and a two-edged sword in their hand, ⁷to execute vengeance on the nations, and punishments on the peoples; ⁸to bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; ⁹to execute on them the written judgment. All his saints have this honor. Praise the LORD!

⁵I heard the angel of the waters saying, “You are righteous, who are and who were, O Holy One, because you have judged these things. ⁶For they poured out the blood of saints and prophets, and you have given them blood to drink. They deserve this.”

⁴³Rejoice, you nations, with his people, for he will avenge the blood of his servants. He will take vengeance on his adversaries, and will make atonement for his land and for his people.
