Judges 12:3

²¹The woman came to Saul and saw that he was very troubled, and said to him, “Behold, your servant has listened to your voice, and I have put my life in my hand, and have listened to your words which you spoke to me.

⁵for he put his life in his hand and struck the Philistine, and the LORD worked a great victory for all Israel. You saw it and rejoiced. Why then will you sin against innocent blood, to kill David without a cause?”

¹⁴Why should I take my flesh in my teeth, and put my life in my hand?

¹⁰⁹My soul is continually in my hand, yet I won’t forget your law.

¹²Behold, God is with us at our head, and his priests with the trumpets of alarm to sound an alarm against you. Children of Israel, don’t fight against the LORD, the God of your fathers; for you will not prosper.”

⁴who risked their own necks for my life, to whom not only I give thanks, but also all the assemblies of the Gentiles.

¹¹They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony. They didn’t love their life, even to death.

¹⁷(for my father fought for you, risked his life, and delivered you out of the hand of Midian;

²⁷Therefore I have not sinned against you, but you do me wrong to war against me. May the LORD the Judge be judge today between the children of Israel and the children of Ammon.”
