Isaiah 61:8

⁷For the LORD is righteous. He loves righteousness. The upright shall see his face.

²⁴But let him who glories glory in this, that he has understanding, and knows me, that I am the LORD who exercises loving kindness, justice, and righteousness in the earth, for I delight in these things,” says the LORD.

¹⁶These are the things that you shall do: speak every man the truth with his neighbor. Execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates, ¹⁷and let none of you devise evil in your hearts against his neighbor, and love no false oath; for all these are things that I hate,” says the LORD.

⁷I will establish my covenant between me and you and your offspring after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God to you and to your offspring after you.

³Turn your ear, and come to me. Hear, and your soul will live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

⁴⁰I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from following them, to do them good. I will put my fear in their hearts, that they may not depart from me.

²⁸For the LORD loves justice, and doesn’t forsake his saints. They are preserved forever, but the children of the wicked shall be cut off.

⁸Good and upright is the LORD, therefore he will instruct sinners in the way. ⁹He will guide the humble in justice. He will teach the humble his way. ¹⁰All the paths of the LORD are loving kindness and truth to such as keep his covenant and his testimonies. ¹¹For your name’s sake, LORD, pardon my iniquity, for it is great. ¹²What man is he who fears the LORD? He shall instruct him in the way that he shall choose.

²⁰I walk in the way of righteousness, in the middle of the paths of justice,

⁴The King’s strength also loves justice. You establish equity. You execute justice and righteousness in Jacob.
