Isaiah 44:21

¹Yet listen now, Jacob my servant, and Israel, whom I have chosen. ²This is what the LORD who made you, and formed you from the womb, who will help you says: “Don’t be afraid, Jacob my servant; and you, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen.

¹⁵“Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, these may forget, yet I will not forget you! ¹⁶Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands. Your walls are continually before me.

¹But now the LORD who created you, Jacob, and he who formed you, Israel, says: “Don’t be afraid, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by your name. You are mine.

⁹I will sow them among the peoples. They will remember me in far countries. They will live with their children and will return.

¹⁵I am the LORD, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King.”

⁸“Remember this, and show yourselves men. Bring it to mind again, you transgressors. ⁹Remember the former things of old; for I am God, and there is no other. I am God, and there is none like me.

⁸“But you, Israel, my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the offspring of Abraham my friend, ⁹you whom I have taken hold of from the ends of the earth, and called from its corners, and said to you, ‘You are my servant. I have chosen you and have not cast you away.’

²³Who is there among you who will give ear to this? Who will listen and hear for the time to come?

⁷everyone who is called by my name, and whom I have created for my glory, whom I have formed, yes, whom I have made.’”

²⁸Concerning the Good News, they are enemies for your sake. But concerning the election, they are beloved for the fathers’ sake. ²⁹For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.
