Hosea 6:2

⁵“Turn back, and tell Hezekiah the prince of my people, ‘The LORD, the God of David your father, says, “I have heard your prayer. I have seen your tears. Behold, I will heal you. On the third day, you will go up to the LORD’s house.

¹⁹Your dead shall live. Their dead bodies shall arise. Awake and sing, you who dwell in the dust; for your dew is like the dew of herbs, and the earth will cast out the departed spirits.

⁴that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,

¹¹Then he said to me, “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. Behold, they say, ‘Our bones are dried up, and our hope is lost. We are completely cut off.’ ¹²Therefore prophesy, and tell them, ‘The Lord GOD says: “Behold, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, my people; and I will bring you into the land of Israel. ¹³You will know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves and caused you to come up out of your graves, my people.

¹⁴I will ransom them from the power of Sheol.^[+] I will redeem them from death! Death, where are your plagues? Sheol, where is your destruction? “Compassion will be hidden from my eyes.

¹⁹Yet a little while, and the world will see me no more; but you will see me. Because I live, you will live also.

⁴Sing praise to the LORD, you saints of his. Give thanks to his holy name. ⁵For his anger is but for a moment. His favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning.

¹⁸Abraham said to God, “Oh that Ishmael might live before you!”

⁸For if we live, we live to the Lord. Or if we die, we die to the Lord. If therefore we live or die, we are the Lord’s.

⁷He shall be enthroned in God’s presence forever. Appoint your loving kindness and truth, that they may preserve him.
