Hosea 14:9

²⁹The way of the LORD is a stronghold to the upright, but it is a destruction to the workers of iniquity.

⁴³Whoever is wise will pay attention to these things. They will consider the loving kindnesses of the LORD.

⁴⁷He who is of God hears the words of God. For this cause you don’t hear, because you are not of God.”

¹⁰Many will purify themselves, and make themselves white, and be refined, but the wicked will do wickedly; and none of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.

⁵that the wise man may hear, and increase in learning; that the man of understanding may attain to sound counsel; ⁶to understand a proverb and parables, the words and riddles of the wise.

⁷The LORD’s law is perfect, restoring the soul. The LORD’s covenant is sure, making wise the simple. ⁸The LORD’s precepts are right, rejoicing the heart. The LORD’s commandment is pure, enlightening the eyes.

⁴The Rock: his work is perfect, for all his ways are just. A God of faithfulness who does no wrong, just and right is he.

¹²Who is wise enough to understand this? Who is he to whom the mouth of the LORD has spoken, that he may declare it? Why has the land perished and burned up like a wilderness, so that no one passes through?

⁷The way of the just is uprightness. You who are upright make the path of the righteous level.

⁵The LORD, within her, is righteous. He will do no wrong. Every morning he brings his justice to light. He doesn’t fail, but the unjust know no shame.
