Genesis 4:26

¹⁷I will offer to you the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call on the LORD’s name.

²⁴You call on the name of your god, and I will call on the LORD’s name. The God who answers by fire, let him be God.” All the people answered, “What you say is good.”

⁹For then I will purify the lips of the peoples, that they may all call on the LORD’s name, to serve him shoulder to shoulder.

³²It will happen that whoever will call on the LORD’s name shall be saved; for in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be those who escape, as the LORD has said, and among the remnant, those whom the LORD calls.

⁸He left from there to go to the mountain on the east of Bethel and pitched his tent, having Bethel on the west, and Ai on the east. There he built an altar to the LORD^[+] and called on the LORD’s name.

¹⁶In those days Judah will be saved, and Jerusalem will dwell safely. This is the name by which she will be called: The LORD our righteousness.”

³⁸the son of Enos, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, the son of God.

²⁵He built an altar there, and called on the LORD’s name, and pitched his tent there. There Isaac’s servants dug a well.

¹⁷You have declared today that the LORD is your God, and that you would walk in his ways, keep his statutes, his commandments, and his ordinances, and listen to his voice. ¹⁸The LORD has declared today that you are a people for his own possession, as he has promised you, and that you should keep all his commandments.

²⁶When he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. For a whole year they were gathered together with the assembly, and taught many people. The disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.
