Genesis 24:15

²⁹Abram and Nahor married wives. The name of Abram’s wife was Sarai, and the name of Nahor’s wife was Milcah, the daughter of Haran, who was also the father of Iscah.

²⁴It will happen that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

⁴⁵Before I had finished speaking in my heart, behold, Rebekah came out with her pitcher on her shoulder. She went down to the spring, and drew. I said to her, ‘Please let me drink.’

²⁰While I was speaking, praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the LORD my God for the holy mountain of my God— ²¹yes, while I was speaking in prayer—the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening offering. ²²He instructed me and talked with me, and said, “Daniel, I have now come to give you wisdom and understanding. ²³At the beginning of your petitions the commandment went out, and I have come to tell you, for you are greatly beloved. Therefore consider the matter and understand the vision.

²You who hear prayer, all men will come to you.

¹⁵The LORD’s eyes are toward the righteous. His ears listen to their cry.

¹⁶Now the priest of Midian had seven daughters. They came and drew water, and filled the troughs to water their father’s flock.

²⁰After these things, Abraham was told, “Behold, Milcah, she also has borne children to your brother Nahor: ²¹Uz his firstborn, Buz his brother, Kemuel the father of Aram, ²²Chesed, Hazo, Pildash, Jidlaph, and Bethuel.” ²³Bethuel became the father of Rebekah. These eight Milcah bore to Nahor, Abraham’s brother.

⁹Then you will call, and the LORD will answer. You will cry for help, and he will say, ‘Here I am.’ “If you take away from among you the yoke, finger pointing, and speaking wickedly;

¹⁸The LORD is near to all those who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. ¹⁹He will fulfill the desire of those who fear him. He also will hear their cry, and will save them.
