Genesis 19:3

⁶Abraham hurried into the tent to Sarah, and said, “Quickly prepare three seahs^[+] of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes.” ⁷Abraham ran to the herd, and fetched a tender and good calf, and gave it to the servant. He hurried to dress it. ⁸He took butter, milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them. He stood by them under the tree, and they ate.

¹⁹Gideon went in and prepared a young goat and unleavened cakes of an ephah^[+] of meal. He put the meat in a basket and he put the broth in a pot, and brought it out to him under the oak, and presented it.

²⁴The woman had a fattened calf in the house. She hurried and killed it; and she took flour and kneaded it, and baked unleavened bread of it.

⁸Therefore let’s keep the feast, not with old yeast, neither with the yeast of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

²Don’t forget to show hospitality to strangers, for in doing so, some have entertained angels without knowing it.

³⁹They baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought out of Egypt; for it wasn’t leavened, because they were thrust out of Egypt, and couldn’t wait, and they had not prepared any food for themselves.

⁸The child grew and was weaned. Abraham made a great feast on the day that Isaac was weaned.

²³“The lord said to the servant, ‘Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.

²⁸They came near to the village where they were going, and he acted like he would go further.

²⁹They urged him, saying, “Stay with us, for it is almost evening, and the day is almost over.” He went in to stay with them.

¹⁵“‘Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread; even the first day you shall put away yeast out of your houses, for whoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.
