Genesis 1:28

¹God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them, “Be fruitful, multiply, and replenish the earth.

⁷Be fruitful and multiply. Increase abundantly in the earth, and multiply in it.”

⁹“‘I will have respect for you, make you fruitful, multiply you, and will establish my covenant with you.

³Your wife will be as a fruitful vine in the innermost parts of your house, your children like olive shoots around your table. ⁴Behold, this is how the man who fears the LORD is blessed.

¹⁷that I will bless you greatly, and I will multiply your offspring greatly like the stars of the heavens, and like the sand which is on the seashore. Your offspring will possess the gate of his enemies. ¹⁸All the nations of the earth will be blessed by your offspring, because you have obeyed my voice.’”

²²God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.”

¹Unless the LORD builds the house, they who build it labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchman guards it in vain. ²It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil, for he gives sleep to his loved ones. ³Behold, children are a heritage of the LORD. The fruit of the womb is his reward. ⁴As arrows in the hand of a mighty man, so are the children of youth. ⁵Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them. They won’t be disappointed when they speak with their enemies in the gate.

¹⁸For the LORD who created the heavens, the God who formed the earth and made it, who established it and didn’t create it a waste, who formed it to be inhabited says: “I am the LORD. There is no other.

²⁰As for Ishmael, I have heard you. Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly. He will become the father of twelve princes, and I will make him a great nation.

¹⁷Bring out with you every living thing that is with you of all flesh, including birds, livestock, and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply on the earth.”
