Genesis 1:27

⁴He answered, “Haven’t you read that he who made them from the beginning made them male and female,

¹⁰For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them.

¹This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, he made him in God’s likeness. ²He created them male and female, and blessed them. On the day they were created, he named them Adam.

⁶But from the beginning of the creation, God made them male and female.

²¹The LORD God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep. As the man slept, he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. ²²The LORD God made a woman from the rib which he had taken from the man, and brought her to the man. ²³The man said, “This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh. She will be called ‘woman,’ because she was taken out of Man.” ²⁴Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh. ²⁵The man and his wife were both naked, and they were not ashamed.

²⁴and put on the new man, who in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of truth.

¹⁴I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well.

⁷everyone who is called by my name, and whom I have created for my glory, whom I have formed, yes, whom I have made.’”

¹⁵He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.

⁷For a man indeed ought not to have his head covered, because he is the image and glory of God, but the woman is the glory of the man. ⁸For man is not from woman, but woman from man; ⁹for man wasn’t created for the woman, but woman for the man.
