Ezekiel 34:31

³Know that the LORD, he is God. It is he who has made us, and we are his. We are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

¹⁶I have other sheep which are not of this fold.I must bring them also, and they will hear my voice. They will become one flock with one shepherd.

³⁸As the flock for sacrifice, as the flock of Jerusalem in her appointed feasts, so the waste cities will be filled with flocks of men. Then they will know that I am the LORD.’”

⁵²But he led out his own people like sheep, and guided them in the wilderness like a flock.

¹Hear us, Shepherd of Israel, you who lead Joseph like a flock, you who sit above the cherubim, shine out.

²⁸Take heed, therefore, to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the assembly of the Lord and^[+] God which he purchased with his own blood.

¹⁵Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Who are you looking for?” She, supposing him to be the gardener, said to him, “Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have laid him, and I will take him away.”

¹⁶Jesus said to her, “Mary.” She turned and said to him, “Rabboni!”^[+] which is to say, “Teacher!”

^17[+] Jesus said to her, “Don’t hold me, for I haven’t yet ascended to my Father; but go to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”

¹¹“I am the good shepherd.The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.

²⁶But you don’t believe, because you are not of my sheep, as I told you. ²⁷My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. ²⁸I give eternal life to them. They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. ²⁹My Father who has given them to me is greater than all. No one is able to snatch them out of my Father’s hand. ³⁰I and the Father are one.”

⁷for he is our God. We are the people of his pasture, and the sheep in his care. Today, oh that you would hear his voice!
